ACHS Art Fest! Updated Program
We’re hosting the third annual ACHS Arts & Music Fest on Saturday, February 15, 2025. It will be held at the DoubleTree Hilton in American Canyon, from noon to 3pm. This year we are partnering with the Mustard Celebration being held throughout Napa Valley. Our program is specifically linked to the American Canyon Chamber’s Celebration. We hope this will help attract a larger audience.
This year we are hosting the event at the DoubleTree Hilton Napa Valley in American Canyon. Due to the layout of the facility, we are not able to offer the full range of artistic categories this year. American Canyon High School students may enter in any of five different Visual and Performing Arts Categories:
- Visual Arts & Painting
- Photography & Video
- Sculpture & Ceramics
- Interpretive Speech, Monologue or Duet
- Spoken Word/Poetry
Additional information may be needed for some of the performing categories. In general, any performance is limited to no more than 10 minutes, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Further, the “Interpretive Speech, Monologue or Duet” is a broad category that focuses on interpretive works–for example, performing a portion of a published play, interpretive dance, etc. In contrast, the “Spoken Word/Poetry” category is focused on original works of poetry, monologues or other creative works.
