announcing student art contest

Supervisor Belia Ramos and ACAF are working together on a new Student Art Contest. All the details still need to be worked out, but here’s the basics.

Any Middle or High School student in the Fifth District Area (generally, the City of American Canyon, southern portions of Napa City and the Coombsville area) is eligible to apply. The winners will receive cash scholarships. The winners will also have their work shown in Supervisor Ramos’ American Canyon office, located inside City Hall (4381 Broadway Street).

The Arts Foundation will help with promoting the event, providing judges and assisting in the process. It is hoped that this might become an annual event. Funding for the program comes from Napa County funds newly allocated to the District.
