Fall Student Art Contest Reception
Wednesday, December 10 at 4:30pm, we will announce the winners of this year’s Fall Student Art Contest. This reception will be held at Fifth District Supervisor Belia Ramos’ City Hall Office.
Supervisor Ramos and ACAF partnered this year to host two Student Art Contests. Any Middle or High School Student in the Fifth District is eligible to enter. This Fall, we had 18 entries.
The art has been reviewed and judged; the winning artists will be announced at the reception. There is a “People’s Choice” that closes Friday, December 5–the artists getting the most votes online will also be announced at the reception.
First place will receive a $500 scholarship; Second place is $250; and $100 for third place. People’s Choice will receive $50. Thanks to a partnership with the Napa County Library, the top three artists will have their work professionally framed and displayed at the American Canyon Branch library.
All other artists will receive a $10 Starbucks gift card. In addition, ACAF will offer each student a one year Student Membership.
The reception is free and open to the public. You can review the artwork and even vote (if it’s not too late!) on your favorite piece.
