Fall Student Artists Entries

We received 17 entries for our Fall Student Art Contest, up from the 12 we received for our Spring Contest. Most of the art was photography, but we had entries in all categories. Below is a gallery of the artwork.

There will be a reception for the artists at Supervisor Belia Ramos’ office at City Hall, on Wednesday, December 10, from 4:30 to 5:30. The public is invited. We will announce the First, Second and Third place winners, as well as the “People’s Choice.” Following this reception, Supervisor Ramos will host her annual holiday reception at the same location.

The Spring and Fall Contests are the result of funding from Napa County, and reflect Supervisor Ramos’ commitment to recognizing the arts and local artists. In addition, the Napa County Library has agreed to professionally frame the top three artists, as well as display their art at our local branch library.

All entering students will also receive a one year membership in the American Canyon Arts Foundation.
