Second Annual Irish Event

We had a sellout crowd at our second annual Irish Cultural Event, March 19–part of our new “Third Thursdays” program.

We had great food, including Shepherd’s Pie, Colcannon and salad, along with plenty of desserts. Rich Adams entertained us, as he did last year, with Irish Ballads, jokes and the occasional duet with Clarence Mamaril, ACAF Vice-President and member of local Jammin’ FilAms.

With an introduction from our President, Karen Brorby, we concluded the evening with a short documentary on the history of Ireland.

Although “Third Thursdays” are free to our members and their guests, we need sponsors to help us produce the program, including providing the food and entertainment.
