2026 Art Extravaganza Coming June 6 – American Canyon Arts Foundation

Our annual Art Show and Concert is coming to RD Winery this June 6, from 1:00 to 6:00pm. Similar to last year, we will have the Art Show, musical entertainment, lite bites and a silent auction. Wine tastings may be purchased at the winery.

Right now we are asking all artists to consider entering our show. We made a few changes to the Call For Art. First, we expanded or clarified the number of categories for entering, and second, we have selected our judges and want to share that with you. Please download the revised Call For Art here.

Below is a short bio for each of our three judges.

May Jong: Professor and Program Coordinator for Visual Arts, Napa Valley College. Professor Jong has a B.A. Practice of Art, from UC Berkeley, and an M.F.A in Painting, from Claremont Graduate University.

Adam Musto: Currently the Ceramics Instructor at American Canyon High School, Adam received his BFA in Painting & Photography from Pepperdine University and his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art (Michigan). In 1999, he joined Tim Rose at the Coal Shed Studios on Mare Island. He received his teaching credential in 2001 and has been an instructor ever since.

Bill Parsons: Bill’s high school art teacher told him that abstract art dominated all art schools and professions, so he didn’t pursue an art education, until after seminary graduation, when he learned that there was still a healthy market for realistic fine art. Under the tutelage of two excellent teachers Bill began his career in fine art. Bill’s art has won many awards and sold successfully in galleries and art festivals. Bill also teaches painting and drawing.

For members, the entry fee is $20 per item with a maximum of three entries. Non-members pay $30 per entry–same maximum. There is no Youth/Adult division this year–all art will be judged based on the category of art and not by the age of the artist.
